Ich bin mir nicht sicher, ob ich das Thema wirklich getroffen habe …, aber im Spreewald gibt es noch viel Volkskunst: Trachten, die berühmten + bekannten Lausitzer Ostereier, Blaudruck (nicht nur für den Spreewald typisch!), und sicher vielfältige Handarbeiten und traditionelles Handwerk. Ich habe mich für meinen Beitrag vom Spreewald und den dort beheimateten Sorben / Wenden inspirieren lassen. Der Spruch ist ein sorbisches Sprichwort.

I’m not sure if I really hit the theme … but there is still a lot of folk art in the Spreewald: traditional costumes, the famous + well-known Lusatian Easter eggs (have a look here or here), blue printing (not only typical for the Spreewald!), and certainly diverse handicrafts and traditional crafts. I was inspired for my contribution by the Spreewald and the Sorbs / Wends who live there.
The saying is a Sorbian proverb, translated freely: „The clock can stop, time goes on.“
